What I Bring

My background spans global development, environmental policy, hospitality, and data science. Different fields, different pressures, same core challenge: making sense of complexity under real-world constraints.

I bring technical analysis, curiosity about how systems work, and an ability to communicate findings to people with different backgrounds and priorities. My goal is to produce work that's rigorous enough to trust, clear enough to use, and grounded in the context that gives the numbers meaning. I document methodology, assumptions, and limitations throughout my work, making it possible for others to scrutinize the findings, understand their limitations, and extend the analysis.

What I Do

I work across the analytical process, from exploring messy datasets and investigating patterns to building models and communicating findings.

That can include:

• Data analysis and research — exploring datasets, testing questions, and identifying meaningful patterns
• Interactive maps and data visualizations — making geographic and other complex data easier to explore
• Reports and data storytelling — translating technical findings into clear narratives for different audiences
• Reproducible workflows — documenting and organizing analytical work so it can be understood, checked, and extended

The format depends on the problem: a research report, an interactive visualization, an interpretable model, or a documented analytical workflow. The deliverable serves the audience, not the other way around.

I'm especially interested in environmental organizations, research institutes, planning and sustainability teams, and other mission-driven groups working with complex questions about people and places.

I'm drawn to work where analysis connects to the real world: understanding a place, evaluating a policy or program, communicating a public issue, or helping a team decide what to do next.
